World Whale Day 2016, Kihei Maui

It's peak season for humpback whales on Maui, with the coastlines and boats are full of spectators flocking to try and catch a glimpse.  Last weekend concluded festivities of our 3 week long Maui Whale Festival event. The celebration consisted of activities, speakers and whale watches - all to bring awareness of our humpback whales and the community together.  This past Saturday, February 13th was World Whale Day, a fun filled family event hosted in Kalama Park. The gorgeous weather was the perfect backdrop for the parade with vendors, local crafters eateries and entertainment, the annual event had something for everyone.  If you didn't have a chance to participate this year, be sure to make it a must see for next year.  More details here
